On the afternoon of May 21, 2026, the "Cross-Strait Intelligence · AI + Cross-Strait Sci-Tech Integration" Roundtable was successfully held at Rice Noodle Town, Mengzi. Focusing on cross-strait sci-tech cooperation and industrial synergy, the event deeply integrated the technological advantages of Taiwan-funded enterprises with Mengzi’s industrial resources, injecting new momentum into high-quality local development.
Zhao Ji, Director of the Honghe Taiwan Affairs Office, attended and addressed the event. Officials from relevant municipal departments also participated. A Taiwanese business delegation from Beijing and Hangzhou brought cutting-edge projects. Taiwanese experts, local entrepreneurs and young innovators gathered for in-depth cooperation discussions.
Taiwan-funded enterprises promoted advanced projects including comprehensive utilization of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery, low-carbon circular materials, and fully bio-based degradable materials. Dr. Qin Dajia released the Action Plan for Honghe Prefecture and launched the "Human-Machine Co-creation · Boundless Light & Shadow" project. The on-site signing ceremony marked substantial progress in cross-strait sci-tech cooperation.
